Melbourne-based singer/songwriter Maria Pellicano has released a new single, “Cover Me”, which offers a reflective and emotive take on life’s challenges. The single, which was produced by Joshua Hennessy of Pivotal Music, is available on all streaming platforms as of Friday 4th March 2022.
“Cover Me” is a song about turning to a higher power when life gets difficult, and finding peace and confidence through that belief. The song reflects on the inner journey of trusting and believing in something greater than ourselves, and how that can help us overcome feelings of helplessness and find hope, courage, and strength. Maria wrote the song during the Covid-19 lockdowns, as a way of moving from restriction to freedom.
Maria has a long and rich history in music and songwriting, having led worship in the church since her early years and performing at venues throughout Melbourne. Over the last 16 years, she has helped thousands of singers and artists to grow their own artistry through her singing school, SingOut. Her passion for helping individuals find their voice has also led her to coach and develop speakers, leaders, and influencers, and to write a book, “The Art Of Powerful Communication, Aligning the Voice, Mindset and Message”.
Maria’s previous release, “Forever and Ever”, received coverage from numerous music blogs and websites, including Music Of The Future, The Sounds Won’t Stop, Please Pass The Indie, Roadie Music, The Further, Lyrics and Threads, Tinnitist, and more. The single was also played on several radio stations, including Aussie Grown Radio, WAM Online Radio, 2RRR, and King Island Radio.
“Cover Me” is a powerful reminder that, even in life’s most difficult moments, there is always something greater than ourselves to turn to. Maria’s emotive and reflective style makes this song a must-listen for anyone looking for hope and strength in the midst of life’s challenges.
